Secluded but central to PEI tourist sites
Let us pamper you with comforts our family has enjoyed here for three generations: |
|
** Antiques, handmade rugs and quilts in every bedroom, fascinating artwork from our years living overseas. ** Books to share from our home library. ** A warm welcome from our cat Chocolate. (Our other cat Marilyn is deaf so less approachable.) |
|
** Explore the ever-expanding perennial gardens, the rose hedges, the naturalized daffodils and lupins, and the new paths in our 100 acre woodlot. Or borrow a rod and try a little trout fishing below the house. ** If you like, we will lend you one of our Trek bicycles to explore the Confederation Trail. Fine dining awaits you 5 km south in Montague near where the seal-watching cruises begin. or follow the trail north to Cardigan and enjoy a lobster supper.
** And you are invited to try our pump organ, gramophone and piano, or ** follow more modern pursuits with our TV/VCR and computer (high speed wireless internet access). * Trade gardening stories with Brenda or watch Ed tinker with his “new” 1945 tractor and hear his plans for our woodlot. |
|
** Join Edgar in his wood-working shop and admire his collection of exotic hardwoods, or ask to hear the legends behind the numerous curios scattered throughout the house. We enjoy telling about the intriguing things collected in our years overseas.
** Read our guests’ explanations for the ominous(?) red stain in the upstairs hallway or create your own story about it!
** Enjoy meeting friendly people over a cup of tea when you arrive and we’ll help you with your PEI tour plans if you choose.
In other words, we invite you to make our home your home while you are here.
May you collect happy memories of PEI! |
