Morden and Winnipeg varieties but no tea roses here . newest roses 2006 to your left as you enter our driveway. HERB GARDEN TRANSFORMED . in 1999 “garden for the blind” 24 ft sq + 2 circular paths . ~30 beautiful herb varieties but too much work . May 2008, all but roses, lilacs & lavender to friends' yards . replanted with grass and flowering shrubs. IRRIGATION . created 2001 after an exceptionally dry summer . cast-off fire department pump, 41 sprinklers, pipes underground . water from river as far as the entrance gate . not needed for the past 4 years ! |
